Our Mission
B'nai Jehuda
Mt. Carmel Cemetery was founded in 1886, the land was purchased by Samuel and Rachel Powlosky, which was sold to Chevra B'nai Jehuda Cemetery Association, also known as Mount Carmel Cemetery.
Members of Lincoln's Jewish community have lovingly cared for the cemetery for generations. At 140 years of service to the Jewish community, we are still open and available.

מכבדים את יקירינו
Every headstone tells a story. By adopting a monument, you ensure that the legacy of Lincoln's Jewish pioneers is honored, cleaned, and preserved for future generations.
Many historic monuments have no local descendants left to care for them. Step in to safeguard their resting place and protect our community’s sacred heritage.
